He was always so busy. His job required him to travel a lot and had little time for everything else. She understood his concerns but always wanted to spend whatever time he spared.
She thought of the world of him but never shared it with him. She was always waiting for the right time. One day when she was casually going through her WhatsApp contacts, he was online.
She was deciding whether to share her heart with him now when she saw his status change to 'Typing'. She gets butterflies in her stomach. They were chatting on general terms when she suddenly overcame her fear and typed her heart out conveying her love for him.
But her mobile battery ran out at the exact moment and it gets switched off. She gets mad literally and runs to put it on charger when she trips and the phone breaks.
He calls her on landline and asks casually about her phone the next day. Since it was his usual tone she concludes the message is lost. He offers to take her to the service center to get her mobile repaired.
On the way she asks him for his phone to call her parents back home. She decides to check WhatsApp for her chathead to see if he has received the message.
There were more than 50 active chatheads. She goes to the contacts to search her name. It is not there. As she blinks at him he comes to her and says,
"If you are searching for your number it is saved by the name 'My gal' "
She never had to worry about the lost message ever.
