Falling in love

She felt distant. They were too much occupied with their work that they couldn't spend quality time for each other. She felt sad. She couldn't bear that they are falling apart anymore.

She decided to talk to him. He seemed so cool about it. When she explained how much she misses him and the pain she felt he did not seem to be much interested to know.

Her remorse felt exponential. She was hiding her sobs in the pillow when he came and touched her. He turned her and hugged her hard. 

He said,  " When we fall we don't feel the pain till the ground breaks the fall. Falling in love is similar to it. As long as we keep falling in love we have no pain and nothing to worry about. I have never broke the fall till now and ever will. "

She fell in love with him again.
